Fiske moved from England to Perth in February 2008 and is married to a West Australian, Suzette.
Since learning bridge as a child, he has been playing competitively for 40 years and has been teaching the game for over 25 years.
He was an English Grand Master and enjoyed success at county and national level, frequently representing both London and Cambridgeshire. Since arriving in Perth, he has twice won the Western Seniors Pairs and the WA Open Teams. He has continued his bridge teaching and also runs bridge mini-holidays that have proven to be very popular and well received.
Fiske is particularly interested in bidding theory and has a thorough knowledge of all the most popular bidding systems including Acol, Standard American and Precision. His teaching style is to try and keep everything clear and concise but above all he believes that his pupils should have fun as they learn!
